Second Baptist Church has partnered with Karate Sensei Candy to offer affordable karate classes at the Family Life Center.
Classes are scheduled every Monday and Friday from 4:30 to 6:00 PM, on Wednesdays from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM for kids ages 5 to 18 years of age in different groups.
In addition to promoting self-awareness and self-defense, karate helps children build discipline, boost their confidence, and improve their physical fitness.
This is a non-violent program that also offers full scholarships for children who cannot afford after-school programs, making it accessible to everyone. Please consider sponsoring a child, that would help the kids and the teacher to continue with the program.
